Edit: Seeing as nobody has commented here XD I'de like to point out, yes his eye is lower in real life, and there is fur covering it in real life which makes it look even lower :d I exagerated the ears a bit though Xd
WOOT! This didn't take very long to do, though I had to take a break yesterday to finish him today (it was 2 AM lemmie along  ). Teddy is not an inanimate-object-whatever. At least not to me  I did this from scratch, tons of layers and of course I held him up to the monitor to get some of the details right =d And then I shoved him onto my bed to see how the sheets would fold XD This is not a halloween themed image, he just happens to be wearing a pumpkin shirt which he stole from another teddy bear in this house <_< Okay fine I stole it and gave it to him, but the bear got another shirt as compensation Just like Foxy, I made this 1024 x 768, a great desktop background size ifyaknowhatImean  Yes that's my signature down there, gotta problem with it? Oh well I don't feel like fixing it =d If you have any tips for me on how to improve, or some comments, or maybe know somebody who may have some comments (ha, self advertising, gotta love it XD) then post here! (or if you have friends, bring them here!) Now my personal thoughts on this. I think it turned out rather nicely. I might go back and fix the covers and then repost here but otherwise the bear himself is just about done o_O Wanna see a pic of the bear? [link] I hope everybody likes it, and that this was not a wasted effort XD |

The folds don't necessarily strike me as folds-- probably not enough shading or something.However, the bear itself is fantastic. I thought it was a photograph at first in preview ^_^
I have two crits, however: the folds didn't strike me as folds- honestly I thought it was some creative background. I would simply suggest working more on deepening your shading, which is also my second crit. Play around now with light sources so your object of painting doesn't look washed out!
But still, nice details! I could definitely this on a Halloween card at Hallmark or somesuch
Thank you so much, that means a lot to me! Not to mention thank you for the favorite as well! I will work on folds as much as I can so that I can improve and hopefully master the painstaking art of folds and shadows =O
